3D print quote builder

Turn slicer numbers into a customer quote. Each part is priced from your own rates, then setup, shipping, discount and tax are added. Print it, save it as a PDF, or copy it into a message.

How this is calculated

  1. Cost per part = filament (grams ÷ 1,000 × $/kg) + electricity (W ÷ 1,000 × print hours × rate) + machine wear ($/hr × print hours), divided by (1 − failure rate), plus labor (hands-on minutes ÷ 60 × labor rate).
  2. Unit price = cost per part × (1 + markup), rounded to the cent. Line total = unit price × quantity.
  3. Discount applies to parts plus setup. Discount and tax are rounded to the cent, so the quote adds up line by line. Sales tax applies to parts plus setup after discount; shipping is shown untaxed. Whether shipping or 3D printing services are taxable depends on your state; check with your state's tax agency.
  4. Profit = parts and setup after discount − your cost. Shipping and tax are passed through.
